How do you know Satan didn't inspire the Bible?

jws believe that satan knows things about the natural world (like how it was formed).. they also believe that satan can influence events (even fulfill prophecies).. the bible is the source of great confusion and the vast majority of christians (2.2 billion people) believe it but do not have "accurate knowledgetm".. from the jw point of view, wouldn't it be more likely that satan inspired the bible than an all loving god?.

How the Watchtower Screws Up Your View of Scripture

while i do not argue the stand of atheism (because as a jew i find it totally logical and acceptable), i have noticed that there are odd carryover preconceptions about scripture that some hold as axiomatic about the bible (at least the hebrew texts), misconceptions that have nothing to do with the jewish scriptures themselves.. so regardless of what you may think of scripture, whether you believe it is of g-d or not, i thought some of you might enjoy a reference to see how much the watchtower teaching on scripture might still be influencing the conclusions you are making today...at least about the tanakh.

jews read their texts acknowledging the following:.

1. no scriptural concept of original sin.

Who resurrected Jesus from death?

he received this email. My friend ask me, what the hell is this about,

"Here is the question. This is the Email...

What is the condition of a person when he dies?

God wants us to know what death is, and tells us.

Ecclesiastes9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything,,,,

Ecclesiastes 9:10 whatsoever the hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no

working, no devising, no knowledge, no wisdom, when you are dead.Right?

Acts chapter 2 speaks about the resurrection of JC. Acts 2: 29,30 says king David knew that in

his line or offspring there would be someone that would sit on his throne, that one would be JC.

Acts 2:31,32 says, He (David) seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul

was not left in hell (grave), neither his flesh did see corruption.

This is saying that Jesus died, he was dead (for three days). If Jesus was dead for three days,

who resurrected him? Ecclesiastes 9: 5,10 says at death you can do absolutely nothing. Who

resurrected him? If he resurrected himself, then he was not dead.

So this is the question...Who resurrected Jesus from the death"?

the line up in lane 9 "casino pussy and in lane 1 nothing but fun.. the caller for the race, "the horses are making the turn and they are coming down the .

stretch, in the lead the number 3 horse and bring up the rear is casino pussy followed by nothing.

but her grandparent and most of the family are JW's.

Comparing JWs to Jews

some have asked how my views and convictions have changed over the past 15 years or so after leaving the watchtower behind to return to my familys roots and embrace judaism.

the best way to explain things is to allow both the religion of the watchtower and my life as a jew today to stand side-by-side for comparison.

while i cant guarantee this will help prove to others that the jehovahs witnesses are truly a crazy religious group, i am sure it will prove to most that jews probably are, and are quite aware of it.

I find it hard to believe that Terrence Howard isn't awake.

for those who don't know, terrence howard is an actor who has had some exposure to "the truth" and has spoken positively about the jw religion in a past interview saying he would become a jw if he could.. i've started watching wayward pines where terrence howard stars as the town sheriff.

there are some striking cult parallels between the show and some facets of jw cult culture.

~ people who try to leave wayward pines are subject to punishment.

Do you have a JW hero?

when i say jw hero i mean a jw who courageously did what was right despite the indoctrination and peer pressure to conform to cultishness.

i have an unknown jw hero that i've never met but only heard of from an experience relayed to me about an incident at a jw funeral.. i was told that at a jw funeral internment, a non-jw put a wreath in the shape of a cross on the grave.

shortly thereafter a jw elder came up and removed the wreath.
